GWTC-4.0: the new catalog from LIGO-Virgo-KAGRA

The new catalog of transient gravitational waves detected by LIGO, Virgo and KAGRA is now published. The data from the first part of the 4th observing run have been analyzed. In total, 218 candidates are reported.
